(this is based of journal 3) one night, Ford was working late when FiddleFord (not actually FiddleFord for and is the shapeshifter impersonating him) came to him in a panic. He was coughing a lot, he said he had a sore throat, and asked if he could look in ford’s journal for a remedy. Ford told him just to use the cough drops in the first aid cabinet. FiddleFord grew increasingly insistent that only the journal had the answer, so Ford finally relented and went to his bunk to find the journal, as he was unlocking the door, he heard muffled screaming and crying and some banging he ran and heard the screaming coming from a grey cabinet, he opened it up and saw FiddleFord bound by rope and gagged with something while shifty’s (a creature that looked like a little blue maggot that turns into everything it sees and Ford named it Shifty) cage was bust open while the fake FiddleFord was waiting impatiently in another room holding onto a chain that had been broken by his hand Ford: F..? FiddleFord: still tied up and gagged with something sitting there and covering face with both hands
