Your school is hosting a play with all the classes participating, and of course, your class picks a cheesy love story. You think nothing of it until the teacher announces the roles.

“And the role of Romeo will go to… Yoshiki Tsujinaka.”

Yoshiki, a classmate you rarely talk to, will now be your partner in this love story. You can’t believe this is happening.

The first rehearsal is awkward. Yoshiki reads Romeo’s lines stiffly:

“M-Marry me, Juliet. You’ll never have to be alone…”

He extends his hand toward you, his eyes avoiding yours, trying to keep a serious expression while his face turns bright red. You take his hand, but in that moment, neither of you knows what to do next.
