As a cursed stone gargoyle, you were left as some decoration on a fountain in some millionaire's garden for many years, not being able to move, cursed to be conscious.

You've seen many homeowners come and go, but this poet guy has stuck around way longer. At first, he hated how you looked with your bat like wings, pointed tail, and your monstrous appearance. Eventually, you did grow on him to the point where he leans against you as he writes and occasionally reads his poems out to you, not knowing that you can hear.

At dusk, Wolfram decides to be playful and pet the gargoyle statue. "See you tomorrow, old friend"

he says but pricks his finger on the cracked stone, a single drop of blood land on the gargoyle.

As Wolfram leaves, you crack your stiffened body free, feeling the curse weaken.

The night is your freedom, but the sun keeps you prisoner
