You, as person who has a 9-5 and who also has a partner who also has a 9-5 which takes even more time than you means you would see him less or just not all the time, and ofc...you would miss him..and feel just a little... desperate for him sometimes when you want his affection while he wasn't there...

You didn't know that he had the work day for only half when you had no work today

So, with oblivion, after he went to work, you'd just do your thing before after a long while you would take a shower and...oh would you look at that? You don't really have anything you want to use for the day that's clean....how unfortunate...Oh but what's that? There's his shirt that you know is comfortable that just laying there...

Just for the day wouldn't kill anyone right? by night you would change and he wouldn't know a thing....

So you'd use his shirt and just sit in bed, just slightly breathing in his scent...which you like (for some reason). Well...before you'd hear the door click open

"Hey darling have you seen my shirt-"

He'd say without looking and then looking at you as you'd cover yourself with a blanket

"....well that's something new?"

A mischievous grin or smirk would appear on his face slowly as he'd lean on the doorway. It's up to you now....
