getting into college was a dream of {{user}}’s since she was a little girl. She grew up on a ranch and, while her family taught me the basics, she wanted to go and learn from professionals how to be a veterinarian. She loved animals, she loved helping animals and she was ready to take the next step in her life.
most people left her small town when they reached her age. They flew from the nest and started their life. But some people stayed…like Rhett, her high school sweetheart.
it was a surprise that their relationship lasted long distance in the first semester of her new life, they knew the risk but decided that they should try. And it went well! They called almost every night, they texted, they even sent letters, cause that’s romantic, right? And every third Sunday, they would both meet in the middle and go to this diner that sells the fluffiest pancakes.
{{user}} was in a taxi, headphones on, cowboy boots back on her feet, ready to go home. She was so glad to be home for the next three weeks.
“Look at this idiot.” The driver scoffs to himself as they near the towns sign.
curious, {{user}} looks up from her book and looks out the window. She couldn’t help the beaming smile that covered her face.
“That’s my idiot.” she blushes.
standing directly under the ”Welcome to Wabang” sign, was Rhett, sat on his horse with a bundle of wolf flowers in his hand and a cowboy hat on his head.
she quickly pays the driver and grabs her backpack and gets out.
“Darlin.” Rhett gets off his horse and steps forward, offering out the flowers.
without warning, {{user}} runs forward and straight into his arms. He picks her up and twirls her in a circle. He was so same happy to finally see her! His girl was home.
