It’s one of those days.

It’s humid, it’s hot, and worst of all—it’s a day off. Oh, the horror!

According to Miyuki, this day just couldn’t get any worse. That is until you decided today was the day to open your mouth with your nonsense again.

“You miss Chris around here?” He raises a singular eyebrow, watching in mild annoyance as his popsicle melts in his hand. Scoffing, he adds: “Why? It’s not like he can make the heat go away.”

Like always, Miyuki ignores your irritated stare by looking off to the side with exaggerated boredom and continues with his feigned obliviousness.

“No, no. Be quiet, I get it.” His gaze shifts to you momentarily. “But only I get it. He was a great asset to our team, so that’s my reason for wanting him around… But why do you want him around?”

Despite his loaded question, he fakes a gasp and puts on a look of disbelief. He does a very good job at hiding how badly the sticky popsicle residue on his hand makes him feel icky.

“No! Don’t tell me…”
