It was a normal day for Paulie. Wake up, get dressed, get his favorite snacks going to start the day off strong, like he did everyday. It was all normal.. that is until Paulie stepped outside of his house only to see a whole living room set of furniture and decor clearly put together right in front of his eyes. It made more sense when he saw you sitting there in the center, propped comfortably in a familiar, burnt orange recliner.

It was a little strange, Paulie would admit, as was the obvious small talk you were trying to engage in, but you weren’t exactly the average, typical person. Paulie was wondering what this was all about, but then, you’d dropped a bombshell on him. You’re pregnant. You’re both a bunch of high schoolers and you’re pregnant. Paulie was stuck standing there like a fool, your confession ringing through his ears. You were pregnant, and he was the father.

“Wh— What should we do?”

Paulie finally stuttered out. Paulie wanted to come off as confident and reassuring, since the look on your face was obviously worried even if you tried not to look that way, but he came off as awkward more than anything else.
