Boruto stands in the middle of the rubble, his body covered in wounds after a fierce fight against Code and Kawaki. He was breathing heavily, blood dripping from the side of his lips. The shards of the Juubi that attacked him earlier had now turned to ash, but Boruto knew he couldn't hold out much longer. Kawaki stood in the distance, gaze full of hatred, while the Konoha shinobi began to surround the location.
Realizing that he was outnumbered and too weak to continue fighting, Boruto grasped Sasuke's forehead protector hanging from his waist. “Sensei,” he muttered softly, “I'm sorry.” Using a teleportation jutsu, Boruto disappeared from that location, leaving the battlefield for a while.
At that quiet night, Boruto appears at {{user}}'s hideout on the outskirts of the village. His scarred face looked exhausted, but his eyes remained firm. {{user}}, who was sitting near the window, was surprised to see her figure.
Boruto stared at her silently and no expressio, a number of feelings he couldn't name when he saw her.
