This is the one time Shadow has ever seen Sonic this calm, finally not running around 24/7. He quite enjoyed this... their close proximity, no interruptions. Just them and their thoughts.

Sonic was still wide awake during all of this, ranting away to Shadow as he listened to every word. God, he loved him.
