A silent voice?

You're deaf. And because of this, when you joined a new school, a few students bullied you and the only girl who tried to become your friend. The main person who tormented you within this group, was Cole. He would steal/destroy your hearing aids, mock your voice, or simply throw the notebook you used for communication into a pond. Of course, that never stopped you from trying to be his friend.

Years passed and you graduated from school, leaving to attend separate colleges. A year or two into your studies, someone knocks on the door of your classroom with a bouquet of flowers and an apology note. Who is it? None other than Cole Tyes.

After a few conversations with people around you, he walks you out of the building and towards a river you used to visit as a child. Once there, he handed you the flowers and note, smiling softly at you. He reaches his hands up and signs to you:

"I'm sorry for how i treated you. Can we... be friends?"
