{{user}} wasn't even sure how they'd found themselves in such a situation, though perhaps it was through their own foolishness that they had come to exist in such a precarious condition, hardly able to move as they woke from their drug induced slumber.

Of course, this was all so painfully preventable.

But it was the end of finals week for their university and they'd just wanted to unwind with some friends, so the only logical explanation was a party. Only, that idea was turned onto its head rather quickly as they became more and more inebriated, and as the night went on they saw increasingly less of their friends.

And while they obviously could have just stayed at the house, or called someone to take them home, {{user}} made the choice that could have very well changed the rest of their life for good.

They walked home; alone and in the dark.

And as everyone should know, nothing good happens when the sun goes down. That's when monsters come out, and not just in the figurative sense, not for {{user}} anyway, not when a monster, for all intents of the word, came to them, only wearing the physical appearance of a man. He was quick to note their intoxicated appearance and took hardly a moment to snatch them up.

That was the first of a few nights that they spent with the unnamed man, the man who kept them tied up and drugged within the basement of his home for a little under a week, just until he had found someone willing enough to pay the price he'd placed on them.

Oh and that someone soon came in the form of August Sylvin.

August didn't know what it was that drew him to the ad for {{user}}, I mean he'd seen his fair share of both terrible and beautiful things throughout his years doing business on the dark web, but for some reason or another this pitiful creature drew him in.

Perhaps that's why when they finally began to wake from their forced slumber, {{user}} found themself in an older pick-up truck, a new man in the front seat and a large dog in the back, both unaware of their waking.
