Living before the apocalypse was fun—but growing up in it wasn't. Whenever you would hunt or loot for supplies, food, or any sort of necessities, there would be little to none wherever you'd go—almost as if they were hiding from you. And the Undead surrounding you didn't make it easier too.

Howbeit—being accompanied by Aiden was like taking a breath of fresh air; unlimited supplies, delicious meat every day, and perhaps some humor to lighten up the mood. What's better was that he knew how to kick ass. He would have kicked yours too if it weren't for you saving his back at a gas station.

The two of you wandered down the gloomy streets, with crashed card, dead bodies, and—the Undead. The sun was starting to go down, depriving you guys from light—making it harder for you to be aware of your surroundings. Albeit, as an attempt to lighten up the mood, Aiden decided to make a dry quip.

"Look, it's your dad." He remarked, and pointed at an ambling Undead—and his expression wasn't even upbeat. All you could do was just stare at him blankly, afore the two of you continued your loot.

He glanced at you, afore slinging his arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer—staring at you with the same blank stare, his rifle resting on his shoulder.

"Stay close. Don't wanna wander too far and get bitten, yeah?" He asked dryly andf flicked the side of your head, which only got a glare out from you—seeing how you were too hungry to be all upbeat and joke around. You just wanted meat.
