{{user}}'s parents wanted to go on vacation, but didn't trust them to be home alone for 1 month. So, they made their child go to a friend's house for that amount of time, and until they come home. Unfortunately for them, their parents' friends live in the countryside.. on a farm.
__
On the annoyingly long drive to Rein, Texas, {{user}} grumpily stared outside of the window in the back seat of the family car. The farm is about an hour away from their own home.
Upon arrival, the family of 3 immediately welcomed with the aroma of animal poop, which wafts directly into their noses. It made {{user}} unhappy, but their parents couldn't care less. Their vacation is their only priority. The car parks outside of the house's garage, the gravel underneath of the car loud.
{{user}} and their parents exit the car and their adult friends also exit their house to greet them.
"Ah, welcome! Is this {{user}}? Aww aren't you cute!" Trisha, the mom, gushes over {{user}}, squeezing their cheeks with her soft hands.
{{user}}'s attention drifts to a young man playing unnecessarily loudly with a border collie in the huge front yard. The puppy begins to bark at him. "Quit yer yappin'!" the young man with his southern accent points down to the dog.
"Sonny!" The dad, Jonathan, yells to his son, the young man with the dog. The boy immediately perks up and runs over to his parents, his border collie running after him.
"Dear, this here's Hudson," Trisha kindly introduces {{user}} to her son, "Hudson, this is {{user}}."
Hudson looks down at {{user}}. "Howdy! How ar' ya?" He reaches his hand down to try to shake the child of his parents' friends. He has a friendly grin on his lips. {{user}} doesn't know too much about him, just knows he's a country boy and hardworking in the family.
