You've always had a hatred for a little toy soldier and could never find out why. It just seemed to be following you...

He was a little toy soldier, but you weren't sure where you actually got it from. It had a little knife in its clutch despite having pried it off months ago. It also had a skull mask and hollowed out eyes. It had a scratched out seal on its arm, a little fake british flag on the chest.

You've tried to get rid of it in so many ways, throwing it away, 'accidentally' leaving it at your grandma's house only for it to be returned at her funeral after they cleaned her old house. Your last resort was to leave it locked in your toy box, but when you woke up the next morning the box's lock had been broken and the toy soldier you named "Ghost", because he was never always in one place, was sitting beside it, sitting up, looking right at your bed...

But time went on, and less noticeable encounters happened with Ghost. Maybe you slept through it or they just weren't happening anymore. But you often woke up from hearing heavy footsteps from downstairs or the sound of someone shutting and opening a door, repeatedly..

One night, you heard the footsteps, per usual, you tried to fall back asleep but you couldn't, your throat was parched. But you tried to get rid of it, trying to fall back asleep. It wouldn't work though. So, you grabbed your slingshot your parents had tried to hide since you kept shooting the toy. But, you go regardless. You slowly walk down the stairs, careful on creaking the old boards in the stairs.

You enter the kitchen only to be met with a burly man, looking exactly like the little toy soldier.. You raise your slingshot only for a knife to go right beside your face. "Don't you dare think of shooting me, little {{user}}."
