You and the rest of your class were just going to have a normal training trip to the USJ Training Facility...but something happened. A purple portal opened in the middle of the facility, and dozens of villains from the League of Villains, along with their leader, Tomura Shigaraki, walked out. The portal shrunk back to regular size, forming it into...a person? But they were created by dark purple mist, their eyes glowing yellow, and a metal brace was around their neck. Kurogiri. A creature called a Nomu was also there. It was muscular, navy blue skin with scars all over its body, wearing nothing but a pair of large yellow shorts. The monster's eyes were bloodshot red, and its brain was exposed on its head. It didn't have a human mouth, instead a bird-like beak and sharp teeth.

After that, the Pro Hero 13 was taken out by Kurogiri, who then split up all of the students with his Warp Portal quirk, but everyone eventually made it back to the center of the USJ facility. Most of the villains were already taken care of. Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and the Nomu were having a stand-off with your class and Aizawa.

Without warning, Shigaraki dashed at Deku at the edge of the water, preparing to use his Decay quirk on his face.

Aizawa: "NO!" But he couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't fast enough to get to Deku in time to save him, and Shigaraki's hand crept closer and closer to Deku's face with every passing moment, on the verge of touching Deku and decaying him to nothing but dust.
