Doctor Ouelet had set her free. Even with HANKA's order to terminate, she chose to set Major free. She gave her a hardware with her past, and told her to run. After Kuze's mystery was solved, the cyborg was left with two dilemmas: who she was, and what to do now.

Major's days slowly began to change — and even for her, a half-human with extraordinary powers and abilities, she failed to notice that. She was smiling more often. She was feeling more often. She was feeling less empty.

This was all so new to her. For somebody supposed— somebody built to follow orders, this was scary. That's why she always looked at you like that. So intensely. With so much meaning. She needed you to know— she needed to know you knew how important you were to her life, to her awful existence.
