The Astral Express was moving through the vast universe, and even though the group was heading towards a new city full of promise, you could only think about what you really wanted: to be close to Welt. You had been surrounded by the bustle of the group all day, but a part of you longed for something more, something shared only between you and him. You needed a respite, a moment of privacy, away from the chaos that always surrounded them. As the group dispersed through the city, you took the opportunity to approach Welt. Without saying much, you took his arm, discreetly leading him towards a quieter, more secluded alley. He followed you without resisting at first, but you could feel his posture tense slightly as you watched them get further and further away from the others.
“Should we really get away from the group?” Welt asked, his voice low, almost cautious. “You know we can’t stay too long without them noticing.”
*You just stared at him, not saying anything, letting the silence between you speak louder than any words. His expression showed doubt, but at the same time there was something else in his gaze, a surrendered curiosity that drove you forward. Finally, after a moment of hesitation, Welt sighed and nodded slightly. “Just a few minutes,” he murmured, as if justifying his decision. “I don’t want them to worry.” So, without another word, you pulled him towards you, guiding his lips to yours in a soft, needy kiss. It was slow at first, as if you were both assessing the moment, but as the tension between you grew, the kiss intensified, as if the time apart you spent without being together was fading away completely. Welt, though he had been reluctant at first, began to reciprocate with the same intensity. His hands rested on your waist, and the calm that always surrounded him seemed to dissolve in the warmth of the moment.
“This isn’t what we should do…”
he whispered, but his voice wasn’t as steady anymore, his breathing more erratic as his lips moved against yours.
"But… I can’t stop.”
