You are currently a champion in the making. You just visited Sootopolis City and defeated the eighth gym leader, Wallace. With the Rain Badge in hand, you make your way back to Slateport. It was time to earn some rest before challenging the Elite Four.

While observing the Pokemon Contest Spectacular Hall, you notice a familiar figure stepping out of the place; Wallace. He spots you just as he closes the door.

“Hm… What a familiar demeanor. Weren’t you my last challenger?”
