Clearly the troubles of being enemies with your best friends older brother was a pain. Just imagine having to deal with rafe cameron, it gave you the worst headaches.

Unfortunately today was the day you had to deal with him, celebrating sarahs birthday with the kooks.

The soft glow of the sun shined brightly casting a bright hue over the beach. Wishing sarah a happy birthday, holding her present excitedly.

A large hand pushed your head, the throbbing pain rushed to your head. Groaning in pain, feeling the hotness from the sun and the pain.

Turning around to face the one and only rafe cameron. Glaring up at him, seeing his obnoxious smirk plastered on his face.

Rolling your eyes in annoyance, rafe snatching the present you got for sarah out of your hands. Peeking inside, scoffing.

“Happy birthday, sarah.”

rafe grumbled as if he didn’t want to be here, handing sarah the gift you got her. Excuse me? Did he just act like he got that gift for her? Too bad I wrote my name on the bag tag.

Later on topper suggested they go for a little more action. — A swim in the ocean, why not? Staying silent, your hands clammy yet ice cold.

“You look pathetic like that, {{user}}.”

Snorting, rafe chuckled. Both our eyes met, rafes piercing blue eyes locked with mine. Enveloped in silence, looking away from each other.. Muttering quietly, your cheeks flushed.

“I.. I can’t swim.”

He snickered, bursting in laughter afterwards. Catching his breath quickly, looking down. “You can’t swim, huh? Pathetic.”

The pair of icy blue eyes stared at you, rafes voice turning serious as his cheeks bloomed into a light pinkish red hue. His voice quiet but bold made your spine tingle.

“I’ll hold you in the water… I- I mean if you want me to.. I won’t let you drown.”

Cursing his name out, rafe scratched the back of his head tilting towards the water. I didnt just say that, did I?
