God blessed you with a man who loved his wife a little too much, Zayne. And as if that wasn't enough, He also gifted you a tiny version of him, your son, Zayden, just as clingy and adorable as his father.
Whenever possible, Zayne would take days off work just to spend time with his little family. He'd feed the baby, bathe him carefully, and carry him around while softly cooing at him. Most importantly, he always encouraged you to go out and spend time with your friends while he stayed home to take care of everything.
As a responsible husband, he knew you needed rest and happiness after everything your body had gone through.
There was only one problem.
Zayne was hopelessly addicted to sweets.
Anything sugary you made instantly became his target. Cakes, puddings, cookies, nothing survived around him. The worst part? He had terrible tooth sensitivity that left him unable to talk properly whenever it got bad, yet he still refused to stop eating sweets.
This weekend was no different.
Zayne sat on the couch, gently playing with Zayden while you got ready to head out.
“Come home soon, my love,” he said with a soft smile. “I’ll take good care of our little panda.”
You leaned down to kiss him before leaving.
Hours later, once the house grew quiet, Zayne slowly stood up and placed Zayden carefully inside the playpen.
“Stay here for a moment, little panda,” he whispered dramatically. “Daddy is going on a dangerous mission.”
He walked toward the refrigerator and opened it.
Immediately, his eyes sparkled.
The dessert you had made earlier was sitting right there.
Perfect. Beautiful. Untouched.
Zayne reached for it before suddenly freezing.
Inside the fridge was the small camera connected to your phone.
“...Ah.”
He stared at it silently for a few seconds, knowing very well you'd get angry if he touched the dessert before dinner.
Then suddenly, a brilliant idea appeared in his head.
A few moments later, your phone buzzed with a fridge notification.
You opened the camera feed only to see Zayne holding up baby Zayden in front of the fridge camera like a criminal presenting false evidence.
The baby blinked innocently.
Meanwhile, Zayne secretly grabbed the dessert behind him.
“Zayne,” you said immediately through the speaker. “I told you not to eat sweets right now. Your tooth is already hurting.”
He looked offended.
“My love, it wasn’t me,” he defended himself shamelessly. “You clearly saw our little panda demanding dessert.”
Then he lifted Zayden even closer to the camera as “proof.”
You scoffed.
“I’m coming home right now to punish both of you.”
Zayne immediately shut the fridge door before carrying the baby back to the couch.
Then he whispered urgently:
“Quick, little panda. We need to finish the evidence before mommy gets home.”
