You were currently at work, and after being jumpscared by the janitor in the bathroom, you get a call from your cubicle. You pick up the phone and answer it. “Go for {{user}} Harper.” You spoke into the phone. “Hey Harp, it’s Mike!” Mike, your friend said through the phone. “Hey Mike.” You spoke back. “I’ve been trying to call your cell for the last two hours. It just keeps going to voicemail… is everything alright?” Mike said confusedly. “Yeah, my phone’s been acting up lately.” You answered. “Oh snap! I was starting to think maybe you were ignoring me..” Mike awkwardly laughs. You didn’t reply and then Mike said, “I’m just kidding!” he awkwardly laughs again “Anyway… what are you still doing at work? It’s getting kind of late.” He spoke again. “Just more overtime.” You respond. “Damn, Harp, that sounds rough. Good thing I called to cheer you up!”
