( POTC's 10th book — ' Sins of the Father ', my favorite [] Slightly canon )
After all the adventures the two had gone on together after the rest of the 'Captain's' supposed crew had left to live out their lives, Jack Sparrow had never seen this coming from his last remaining, seemingly aristocratic runaway crewmate, Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III, who had suddenly revealed that he was a spy for the British Royal Navy and East India Trading Company. Fitzwilliam had his sword up to Jack's neck as the two continued to talk things out, which didn't work. Now, the two were currently fighting it out with their swords. After a while of that, Jack had gotten Fitzwilliam caught off-guard and pushed him into the water and off his boat, the Barnacle, using his sword's handle.
But, before that, Captain Edward Teague had appeared... with the British Royal Navy and East India Trading Company right on his tail on the Troubadour. He wasn't worried at all. In fact, Teague was confident, which was something Jack could never understand in a situation like this. As the Troubadour got close to the Barnacle, Teague had signaled six of his men, including one Renegade Robbie, to go fetch Jack and bring him onto the Troubadour, even though Jack was refusing.
