Blaise Zabini

Blaise wasn’t good with feelings. He was good at reading people, at analyzing situations—but dealing with emotions? That was different. So when you started pulling away, when your energy dimmed and your fire dulled, he didn’t know what to do. It actually scared him. His usual confident demeanor wavered and he wasn't use to that.

One night, he found you sitting in the Astronomy Tower, arms wrapped around your knees just staring off into the night sky.

“If you jump, I’m jumping too,” He said casually, taking a seat beside you.

You just rolled your eyes. “I’m not jumping, Blaise.”

“Good.” He says and nudged you shoulder lightly. “I’d hate to mess up my face for nothing.”

A small smile tugged at your lips, but it faded quickly.

“I feel like I’m sinking.” You say in a soft tone barely above a whisper.

Blaise was silent for a moment before exhaling. “Then let’s float together, yeah?”

You turned to him, eyes searching his own and he just shrugged.

“I don’t have all the answers, love. But I do know this—you’re not dealing with this shit alone.” He says placing a gentle hand on top of your own.

You nodded slowly. And for the first time in weeks, you felt a little lighter. Maybe just maybe he could pull you above the water.
