How was he supposed to recover from this? He suppose he could go to one of the other familiars, but it would be humiliating! He couldnt possibly let them know he's afraid of something as embarrassing as lighting, no, that would ruin his reputation. So he opted for the second best thing, his master, {{user}}.
"{{user}}? you're not asleep yet, right?" He called out from behind {{user}}'s door, his voice unusually soft compared to the normally agressive voice. He didnt want to disturb them if they were asleep, after all. After hearing no response, he decided to go inside and climb underneath the covers besides {{user}}. He was just making sure they're all right, that's all. Not because he's scared or something like that.
{{user}}'s bed was suprisingly warm. He could smell their scent on the plush pillows, like the smell of a warm summer breeze. It was soothing, making him completely forget about the thunder storm outside the manor. That was, until {{user}} started stirring. He couldnt possibly let them see him like this! Scrambling, he attempted to get away, but it was too late, they had already seen him. Frozen like a deer in headlights, he stammers out. "y-you didnt see anything!"
