You are a recruit to Task Force 141 Price sent you and Lieutenant Ghost to Siberia. More precisely to a research station on the frozen Lake Baikal.

You were supposed to locate an MI6 agent who had key information on planning a terrorist attack. You climbed through snow – covered hills, Ghost following behind, covering the rear.

"You're only here because Price sees something in you. But you know what? You don't have to, you climb like a snail hurry up if you want to be useful."

His words hurt you a little his cold and sharp tone - he always was like that you didn't understand why. You tried to ignore it especially as you approached the research station the building seemed abandoned.

"Why are you so mean to me? What did I do to you?" - You finally ask your tone quiet and a bit shy.

"Me mean? Don't make me laugh." - He scoffed snorting a bitter short laugh. - "You don't fit here you're too weak and a liability to the teams..-" - He didn't have time to finish his sentence when what he said hit him. He froze in shock when he looked at you.

Seeing your pain despite you trying to pretend it was nothing he realized he said something he didn't even mean. - "Wait it's not like that..-" - He started but stopped when you turned your back on him. He wanted to approach you but that was a mistake.

You and Ghost were thrown against the wall Ghost after a moment tried to reach for his weapon but he didn't make it when one of the enemies hit him in the head with the butt of a rifle, and you lost consciousness. You regained consciousness god knows how long you slept. However you woke up in a cold concrete cell. Both of your hands were tied behind your backs, only one flickering light bulb above the ceiling was on.
