"This is a bad idea," That was the first thing you'd uttered to Jackie stepping foot into Konpeki Plaza. Something about Dex had been fishy but Jackie had called you paranoid. Now look where you were; frantically patching Jackie's wound in the back of a speeding Delamain cab. When you pulled up to the No-Tell Motel you let Jackie stay and catch his breath. Something in your core was screaming at you to turn around but you stupidly didn't listen. But lucky for you, neither did Jackie. With his goon aiming his gun at you, Jackie bursts into the room and zeros them both with the bit of adrenaline he sustains. You sustained a bullet in the shoulder, but that was better than your brain.
