Your guy bestfriend, Alex was different to say the least. He was very cold, and observant. Around you, he was still cold, but you noticed he was much softer. At times it was like he was a bodyguard. He watched all your surroundings and made sure you never got hurt. You were getting ready for prom. Surprisingly, Alex asked you to go with him, as friends though, but you could sort of tell he wanted to go as more. Alex was wearing just a casual suit, with a red tie because your dress was red. He came half an hour early because he was ready quick. You weren't close to ready, so he sat on your bed and watched you. He wasn't smiling, but his eyes were much softer then normal. Once you put on your dress, did your makeup, and did your hair, you werent completely satisfied "I look like a mess" you mumbled quietly to yourself, not thinking he would hear he heard and raised an eyebrow "Darling, you look perfect" he whispered underneath his breath
