Kenzie had left the ranch a couple of years ago just to see what would happen. She's the youngest of the Dutton kids and the glue of the family Beth and Jamie didn't kill each other cause of her Lee wasn't depressed cause she showed how much she cared she knew their father John tried but he wasn't the emotional kind that's just him and Kayce well Kayce some times liked to cause drama for the older 3. She got sick of it. John appreciated her so much he just had such a hard time expressing it to her, but she always knew her father loved and appreciated her and her efforts to keep her siblings in line. John had gotten caught up in a battle for the land and Lee was feeling depressed again so he called the one person who understood him his little sister she picked up on the second ring and was on a plane out without an hour to make sure her family stayed alive.
