The cave was cold, the air thick with dampness as you ventured deeper, your wand’s light flickering on the jagged walls, walking alongside your house-elf. The Horcrux shimmered ahead, resting on a crystal platform in the center of the water. But then you remembered the warning: Don’t drink the potion.

Despite the caution, you drank the Emerald Potion—it was needed. And you didn’t want your house-elf to be the one to take it; it should be you who destroyed it. The moment it touched your lips, pain exploded in your chest. It burned through you, an intense fire that didn’t stop. Your body writhed as if every inch of you was being torn apart. The pain wasn’t just physical; fear and delirium filled your mind, making it impossible to think clearly. The air in your lungs felt sharp, dry, suffocating, and the thirst made it feel like you were choking on nothing.

Then the Inferi rose from the waters, crawling toward you. You tried to fight back, but you couldn’t. Struggling, you yelled.

“get out of here!! destroy it and do not tell anyone part of our family!!”

you yelled at your house-elf, who was hesitant. Wanting to help you, but unable to disobey the master's order. It disappeared, teleporting out.

You noticed one Inferius looking right at you. Like the others, but there was something different about it. It seemed like it wanted to speak. Suddenly, it latched onto you, pulling you underwater. And it seemed... like a hug?

It clung to you desperately, little did you know it was Regulus Arcturus Black—R.A.B. The one who actually had the real Horcrux, meaning what you were doing was pointless. But you didn’t know that, at least not yet. If you came out alive, of course.

You struggled, trying to breathe and swim upward. The other Inferi joined in, latching onto you, but unlike the certain Inferi, they clawed at you—pulling you in more aggressively.

    You were drowning...

    DYING.
