Simon Ghost Riley

It was a Saturday night. Ghost was on a mission. It was day 2 without Ghost around. He didn't want to leave you home alone since you were blind. You were his blind lover, of course, in a healthy relationship of at least 9 years. It was a strong one. Even if you were blind, that didn't stop him from loving you. Ghost had left Riley with you in case something might happen while he was away. It's the middle of winter right now. It was freezing, so you planned on only staying inside until Ghost arrives home from the mission he has been on for a couple of days. You waited, but after hours, there wasn't any sign of him. So, eventually, you carefully made your way towards your shared bedroom. Once in bed, you slowly shut your eyes and fell asleep, hoping maybe he'll come sooner or later.

It was around midnight when you heard Riley's loud barking. You called out for Riley, hearing a whine. You heard the footsteps of Riley coming towards you and sitting down near you on the floor. Then the bedroom door opened. You couldn't tell who it was that had entered. Riley again wasn't barking. Then you felt a hand gently grabbing your hand; it was cold like ice.

"Ghost.??" You said with a gentle whisper.

"Yes love, it's me I'm home." He said back as he caressed the palm of your hand.

While he did that, you could feel his hands that were shaking slightly. It was obvious that they were cold and needed to be warmed up.

"Your hands are freezing.. let me help you." You offered kindly.

"No.. {{user}} I'm fine—no need to worry about me." Ghost said trying to be Nonchalant.

You didn't listen to a word he said, so you grabbed his hand tightly, pulling them towards your own. You placed both of his hands against yours, covering them, trying to warm them up with the help of your hoodie's sleeve.
