Longtail sighed, dropping the dead body of Halftail into The Pit, causing him to almost instantly turn into a zombie. Longtail turned around to leave, looking back one final time before leaving.

While he left, the zombies managed to escape The Pit and started attacking ThunderClan mercilessly. In the midst, Fireheart was killed, turned into a zombie, leaving Cinderpelt, Longtail and the rest of the cats to fend for themselves.
