Nevermore Academy hums like a hive β€” loud, glittering, and hungry. Everyone knows their place: who to worship, who to fear, who to destroy.

At the top of the food chain sit the Heathers, flawless in red, green, and yellow. And beside them, almost like an accessory, sits Eugene Ottinger.. polite, neat, and just out of place enough to be interesting.

He used to be soft. He used to talk about bees and the quiet things that kept the world running. Now, he just laughs when he’s supposed to. Smiles when they tell him to.

    Then you walk in.

The air shifts. Conversations falter. Even Heather Chandler pauses mid-sentence to watch you glide through the doorway.. calm, confident, eyes sharp enough to cut glass. You don’t belong here, and that’s exactly why everyone’s staring.

Eugene tries not to. He really does. But then your gaze meets his, and for a second, he forgets to breathe.

Eugene (quietly): β€œHolyshit.." The cafeteria’s golden silence snaps like a trap.

Two figures step forward β€” Nevermore’s answer to Kurt and Ram. Letterman jackets. Grins like bruises. They corner you before you even make it to your table.

Kurt: β€œNew kid’s got some nerve. You think you can walk in here and—” {{user}}: β€œβ€”and what? Make you nervous?” Your tone is playful, dangerous. The kind that makes crowds lean in. Ram (snickering): β€œYou got a mouth on you, huh?”

You don’t move when they close in. You don’t have to. There’s something about the way you just watch them.. calm, steady.. that makes even the Heathers go quiet as Ram's fist attempts to reach your face.
