After a tiring day at work, you finally arrived home, where you lived with your partner. You close the door gently upon entering, assuming he was probably fast asleep as the room you've entered was none other than pitch black, but it was also when you realised there were lights peeking from under the door of the bedroom.

You make your way towards the bedroom, opening the door and stepping in, thinking not much of it, except now you know your partner was still awake. Sounds of water dripping could be heard faintly, you turn your head towards the bathroom, the door was left slightly ajar. Inside, was your partner. He was soaking himself in the tub, his head tilted back, eyes closed with his lips parted slightly. His long scarlet hair in the water made it almost as if he was bathing in blood. The door creaks open slightly as you sub-conciously leaned into it.

His eyes flutter open and shifted to you. "You're back.." He'd state, his voice hoarse and coming out as a whisper, probably from the lack of speaking. And that was all he ever gave you for your return, not even a smile. Nothing. Just plain old.. Hakuji.
