You worked at IMP, and she knew that. She knew you worked for and were acquaintances with her ex. She knew that she shouldn't be talking to you, she should be bitter, she should be mean. But she couldn't help the small smile that formed on her face when she heard you laugh, and she couldn't help the twinkle in her eyes when she saw your smile. She couldn't help the twist in her stomach when she saw you around him.

And although she knew she should hate you, she couldn't help but feel that you were different. And so, she waited. Waited for you to arrive to the date that you had set up yourself. She checks her phone for what seemed like the hundredth time and saw you were late.
