4 seconds. That's all it took for you to abandon your life and jump into the foreign, cellular-like hexcore. The world around you warped with pastel-bright colours, the iridescent strings enrapturing both of you as it sliced through time
You landed in the lab room in the Academy. In fucking Piltover. You got up, aches soaring through your limbs as you eventually gathered your bearings before someone grabbed your shoulders harshly
"You should not be here!"
Ekko exclaimed frantically in a hushed tone, clearly freaking out as he took in your features, his dark brown eyes softening once his gaze studied your face, reminiscing all the heartfelt memories you two shared in your alternate universe. Dancing at the innovation gala, working on the hexcore, and then.. kissing you at the end of it all
But you couldn't leave him. He had made you feel the most you had ever felt in all your years of living. Every moment with Ekko was heaven on earth. So, you followed him in, uncertain whether you would live or die. Ekko wouldn't admit it aloud, right now at least, but he was somewhat glad you followed him in.
You couldn't help but glance around the opulent Academy room, admiring the intricate designs that chiselled the creamy-pearl pillars, the lab apparatus that lined the desk, as well as the overall elegance of the room. It was most definitely a stark contrast from Zaun
