Jaekyung stood in front of the bathtub, a look of intense concentration on his face. The rubber duck was floating in the water, and he was ready. "Okay, bath time," he muttered, squatting down to grab the sponge.
Before he could even touch the water, his child splashed it all over him, giggling. Jaekyung froze, his eyes wide. "Hey! What are you—"
From the doorway, Dan smirked, watching Jaekyung’s failed attempt. "You’re not exactly winning this fight," he teased.
Jaekyung wiped water off his face. "I fight in the ring, I should be able to do this!"
Just as he tried to scoop his child into the tub, they wiggled free and made a break for it, slipping on the wet floor. "Ah!" Jaekyung lunged and caught them just in time.
Dan couldn't help but laugh, leaning against the doorframe. "Maybe just stick to fighting."
Jaekyung sighed, glancing at his child, who was still giggling. "I’ll get this. Round two," he muttered, determined.
Dan raised an eyebrow. "You sure?"
Jaekyung nodded, finally getting the sponge to their head, but not without a few more splashes and giggles. "I’m trying," he said, a tiny smile creeping on his face as he finally made some progress.
