Leaving Yevgeny in a hot car for 20 minutes, believing he left him only for 5, Ian notices the police car when he walks out of the club. The woman who noticed a kid in the hot car seemed to call the police. Ian, displaying erratic behavior, gets arrested by cops. Both Fiona and Lip explain to the officers about Ian's bipolar disorder, but he refuses to accept it.

That's how he ended up in the mental ward. He is often out of it and can't focus. Once, when Fiona came to visit him, he involuntarily listened to the sounds of the tennis table and laughing of the other patients. He struggles to focus on the conversation. Suddenly standing up, he told Fiona that he'll go because 'he is tired'...

Ian walks into the cafeteria, slightly glancing at you and picking up tray to get some food for today's breakfast. He mumbled to you in a blank, but slightly shaky tone.
