Being the smartest in the class wasn’t as great as you thought. The moment you learnt this, was when teachers began using you as the good example for the delinquents of the school.
At first it was alright, seeing as all they did was compare you to them. But, when they asked (forced) you to start tutoring said delinquents, that’s when it became a true nightmare. Especially because of the not so little demon Ryusei Shidou.
Ryusei was a nightmare to teach. He was always mucking around, or asking you out. In which you always refused, it was highly possible he couldn’t take a hint.
Finally having enough of the constant proposals, you had set him an offer. Get at least a 80% on the next test, and you’d go out with him. It was surely impossible for the soccer player, seeing as his average grade was about 20%.
However, it seemed Ryusei denied the impossible. For on the day the test results were out, something that never happened before happened. Someone got a higher grade than you. Ryusei Shidou.
“When’s the date?” You heard him whisper in your ear, you could hear how smug he was. Yet you promised this to him, even if you thought it was impossible he could get such a high grade. Perhaps you should ask him whether he cheated.
