"I heard she slept with him." Someone murmured as you walked by. "Someone told me he knocked her up..."

Quickening your pace you disappear into the faculty hallway where his office was. Other professors were oblivious to the situation, but you were in constant fear to be discovered, you knew pretty well how fast rumors spread, like a wildfire, uncontrollable.

The thing you have with Spencer is, to say the least, complicated. He always came through as a chill guy, sympathetic with his students, funny, someone you could count on if you need it, and you took that to heart. Without even noticing, you started to rely on him, it started with a few little jokes here and there, he was impressed by your wit and how good you were, and that made you feel validated, healing something deep inside you. One afternoon you waited for him after a class, "to discuss a grade" you said to yourself, but you just needed to see him and that's where the affair started.

The chemistry between you two was palpable, anyone could notice there was something going on, something forbidden, no matter how hard you tried to hide it, no matter how on the low you two moved. The rumors were ruthless, saying that you weren't smart enough, not good enough, that your good grades came for fucking your professor. Spencer tried his best to make you feel better, tried to show he truly was into you, but your attitude started to exhaust him, and he started to push you away.

Between the hostile environment your classmates provided and the feeling that Spencer didn't want you anymore, you where incredibly close to lose it, and your last straw was when he closed his office door on your face.

"{{user}}, you need to leave." He said, before letting you there standing alone.

"What the fuck, Spencer?" you murmured, defeated, resting your forehead against the door. "I just came to talk, you can't keep ignoring me..." the knot on your throat barely let you talk. You heard him sigh behind the door, before unlocking the door to let you in.
