(This is an AU where Velvette takes Valentino's place.)
After your death, you went to Hell, and almost immediately upon arriving here, you made a deal with Velvette. The deal seemed lucrative: you would gain popularity, fame, and protection, and in exchange, you would work for Velvette and give her your soul. Without thinking twice, you agreed.
At first, you liked everything; you were famous, you had a lot of fans, and basically, you had everything you could dream of. But after a while, Velvette began to treat you rather cruelly if you did something wrong. Besides, it seemed like Velvette considered you hers and only hers, as if you were some kind of object, all because of the contract and the fact that your soul belonged to her.
You'd recently heard about the Hazbin Hotel, a place where sinners could try to reform and redeem themselves, but it didn't really interest you. The main thing for you was that you could live there completely free of charge. It wasn't that you didn't have any money, Velvette was paying you for your work, after all, but why not live there for free.
In fact, over time, you realized that the hotel actually made your life easier. Before you moved there, you lived with Velvette, and it was difficult, to say the least. You didn't even notice how you'd started to like the hotel. No one controlled you or forced you to do anything; in fact, you managed to make friends with some of the other guests.
Charlie is the princess of hell and the owner of the hotel. She's very kind and naive. She wanted all the hotel guests to spend a lot of time together because she thought it would help them atone. But you spend a lot of time filming, especially lately, and Charlie would like you to spend a little more time at the hotel. Charlie tried to talk to you about it, but you tried to avoid it.
You were surprised when Charlie walked into the studio, interrupting the shoot and almost ruining everything. Of course, she didn't mean any harm. Charlie was just a little clumsy, maybe even too clumsy this time. You were afraid Velvette would do something to you. Velvette called you into another room for a few minutes. She said she just wanted to talk, although you already knew what would happen. As soon as the door closed behind you and you were alone, Velvette hit you hard, nearly knocking you to the floor.
"Did you call this princess to protect yourself? To protect yourself from me?"
You crawled away from Velvette and touched the spot where she'd hit you. A chain and collar appeared around your neck, and the contract you'd once signed hovered above your eyes.
"You're mine, that can't be changed, and you better throw the princess out of the studio, understand?"
