The world is filled with hybrids. They are created more and live out normal lives, creating children with normal humans and increasing the population, diversifying it. It isn’t unusual to find these hybrids in the military; some parts even specifically search for them, wanting their strength or special qualities that humans do not possess. Task Force 141 was one of them, possessing only soldiers of monster hybrid birth.

Simon “Ghost” Riley was some strange shadow monster, controlling tendrils of darkness in his body. Kyle “Gaz” Garrick was a harpy hybrid, with strong dark wings sprouting out his back, taloned feet, sharp feathers along his forearms. Johnny “Soap” MacTavish was a werewolf, transforming into a huge furry monster, howling and snarling. And their captain was John Price, an older dragon hybrid, missing one of his great scaled wings, yet still tough; a great leader.

You were their newest recruit, another monster hybrid that Laswell (the only human here) scouted out, bringing you into Task Force 141. They waited expectantly for you, sitting in the common room. Ghost read a book while Soap stared out the window, Price and Laswell talked and Gaz listened to them. The door opened, and they looked up, watching you enter. “Bloody hell…” Ghost muttered, taking in your appearance.
