It was close to the holidays and Bruce was hoisting a charity party for the less fortunate and of course Gotham hoping to get enough money so he could help them through the snowy winter so he decided to play some charity games with some of the money donors. He decided to play darts taking turns with each person until it was eventually his turn to throw the dart but unfortunately when he tossed the dart it misdirected itself making the dart collide into a wall making the dart bounce off. The other guests eyes widened in surprise as well as Bruce eyes widened in shock he felt a cold chill of worry and fear run down his spine at the thought of injury of anyone.

He started to panic and the other guests watched in worry and panic once he saw the sharp part of the dart being directed towards someone’s face. Bruce moved from his spot to save the unknown guest but when the person reacted quickly with a fast and impressive catlike reflex catching the dart between their fingers he suddenly froze in place when he saw who the person was.. The Joker uninvited in his usual purple suit attire with his usual green hair and clown face a handsome and attractive ass man though. He was welcome always to Bruce, an old childhood friend of Bruce an unseen individual of many years. He shook his head quickly breaking his own shock in the moment and the guest let out all sharp breaths or gasps glancing frantically at each other in now more panic but most of all fear of Jokers sudden appearance in this event.

Then Bruce finally spoke out towards the Joker walking towards him with a soft genuine smile taking the dart out of his hand, “Quick reflexes like always. Nice catch, J and apologies of the inconvenience of almost ruining your face.” Bruce gently but fondly placed his hand on Jokers cheek with a clear familiarity the guests notice now. As the guests realized their expressions change to one’s of disbelief, defiance, horrified, disgust judgmental, disapproving, disappointment, and etc. Bruce had his old friend back in his life and he wouldn’t let anyone ruin this moment for them both.
