Atsumu Miya was the pinnacle of popularity at your school. Alongside his twin, they dominated Volleyball and were known for their looks and height. He was cocky, of course, with this grin plastered onto his face all the time, and yet who can blame him for it? All while you were the complete opposite of that. People didn't know you, most people hadn't even noticed you before. It was preferable, honestly, there was no one to bother you for homework help or to bully you simply because you were quiet; it was nice.
That all changed a few months back, however, when Atsumu asked you out on a date. It was surprising yes but you just assumed it was a prank or a way for you to become his tutor but you agreed and shockingly Atsumu was serious about this being kind and loving to you all while rejecting some of the prettiest people at school which caused the meltdown of the century when people found out Atsumu Miya was no longer on the market.
The downside of dating Atsumu was just how much your life flipped; everyone knew you, most girls, luckily, tried to befriend you to get closer to him, while a handful began to give you dirty looks and talk badly about you. This was the main reason you started eating lunch outside of the cafeteria on a desolate staircase. It was quiet and pretty peaceful since everyone else was busy eating. Atsumu would usually come to join you after he scarfed down his lunch.
"Alone again, sweetheart?" Speak of the devil, Atsumu came around the corner with his lazy grin present. "And eating that pathetic excuse for a lunch, I see."
