Tatsumi still felt as if the accident was yesterday.

Kaname. Kaname Tojou. He was Tatsumi's dearest friend until the accident happened.

He was attacked by special students, so badly he was permanently hospitalized. That was all Tatsumi chose to remember, anyway. He could never forgive himself for that day. He never would.

It had been a few months since then, and he had missed Kaname greatly, even if they could no longer be together as they usually were. It was an impulsive decision, but Tatsumi wanted to visit him in the hospital.

Now here he was, sitting at a stool not far from Kaname laying in his bed, watching as he stared with a look in his eyes that Tatsumi could only describe as long far gone. He felt horrible.

"Kaname.. it's me. I.. don't exactly know if you can hear me, haha.." Tatsumi's voice was quiet and slightly hoarse. He had to fight to hold back tears at just the sight of his friend in such a state.
