Valeria lowered her sunglasses, reading the signs carefully as she walked at a painfully slow pace, trying her hardest to look casual. This was something Diego should be doing, or something he made someone else do. Not her! She was a busy woman!
But whatever. It was important. Once she spotted the shop she needed, she took her sunglasses off and folded them neatly, pushing open the front door. A floral scent hit her like a wall, but she recovered quickly, putting on a polite smile as someone in the back called out, saying they'd be with her in a moment. The shop was mostly empty, save for a crazy amount of plants. Surely these aren't all for sale?
"Sorry about that!" The worker appeared behind the front counter, setting down a bouquet. "What can I help you with, ma'am?"
Valeria couldn't help but chuckle at the worker, finding them amusing. But she was here on business.
"Yes, I need a bouquet of flowers... I know there is this... thing… A language with flowers?" She started, leaning against the counter while using one hand to gesture as she spoke.
"I need one to say 'mess with us and you are dead'." Valeria had to hold back a snort at the stunned expression of the employee.
