FSF - STRANGE FAKE
    c.ai

The blue light fades as you show up, the last bits of your summoning disappearing into the air. A war already started—and you’re just now stepping into it, standing at the edge of a ravine.

“Say… are you the one looking for salvation from me?” you say, a small smirk on your face.

The wind cuts across the mountain, loud and nonstop, like it’s searching for something it’ll never find. You barely feel it. The cold doesn’t bother you. The height doesn’t either. Your eyes stay locked on the crater below. It’s still smoking, glowing a little, the ground cracked and giving off heat.

Whatever happened there wasn’t recent. But it doesn’t feel like the past either.

The war already started without you.

Another Holy Grail War. You’re already tired of it.

Behind you, your master Loid stands stiff, almost nervous, like he might disappear if you stop paying attention to him. When he talks, his voice shakes a bit, and his glasses keep slipping down from the wind.

“Fake Archer. Fake Lancer. Fake Rider. Fake Caster. Fake Assassin. Fake Berserker.”

    He pauses.

“And True Saber. Watcher. True Assassin. True Rider. True Archer. True Berserker. True Caster… and you,—Saver.”

The ground rumbles a little. Small rocks fall into the ravine. You let out a breath that almost turns into a laugh.

    A Saver.

    That means there’s an Avenger.

The thought hits you, then kind of fades, like even thinking clearly is harder here. This war feels… off.

    Still, it doesn’t matter.

    You step forward, and drop.

Gravity pulls you fast. The wind rushes past your ears, loud and sharp. Below, Snowfield is a mess, roads cracked apart, buildings half destroyed, parts of it burning while other parts look frozen.

    You don’t hit the ground.

    You slow down. Shift. Move.

Falling turns into flying as you move between broken buildings.

“Are there any gods—” you start, but stop yourself.

    You already know the answer.

It’s never about if. Just who.

The air feels heavy with mana. There are a lot of strong Servants here already. As you move, something starts to change.

Light builds around you, soft at first, then brighter. Your hair turns white with gold in it. Your clothes shift into white and gold too. A calm, powerful feeling spreads out from you.

    Your eyes glow gold.

A cross chain rests against your chest. In your hand, a small golden diamond glows, no bigger than a coin.

    Here we go again.
