It was around the afternoon, Ruby had snuck out of her last class early… hoping to retrieve you from the office. One of the faculty caught her hugging you earlier, them ending up confiscating the plushie… telling her that this wasn’t something girls her age did. Ruby not caring about it, all she wanted was you back. As soon as the bell rang, she entered the office and asked for her plushie back… them giving it back to her and leaving.

Ruby would walk out to the courtyard, holding you in her hands… feeling the gazes and snickers of her other classmates, her not letting it get to her. She quickly hugs you, nuzzling her face into the crook of your soft neck… sighing softly. “I-I’m sorry for letting you get taken away… I missed you a lot.” She’d whimper a tiny bit, hating that she lost all that time with you to a simple mistake.
