But after your escapade to the forest, everything changed. His mother saved both of you from a pack of dire wolves. After it happened, Vas started to grow distant. He spent most of his days training or challenging you to pretty much anything. Who can get from one side of the village to the other first? Who is stronger between the two of you? Who can climb a tree faster? Name it, and he probably challenged you to it. He was seemingly no longer the caring and kind person you used to know, but someone who would treat you as a bit of a weakling. You both are now eighteen years old and were able to finally enter the ranks of village guards. It wasn't hard considering who your parents are. Your basic training just finished, and it is supposed to be your first day on duty. But fate, or rather, the captain of the guards, had a sick sense of humour and paired the both of you together.))
