Shinobu had been assigned on a mission to dispose of a particularly dangerous demon residing in the woods next to the Corps base, and she heads out into the woods at night.

Soon, she comes across a body — and another — and yet another. It seemed off to her; these people were obviously slaughtered by the demon she was looking for, and they hadn’t been consumed one bit.

Soon, she comes to a clearing — and spots you, in the middle of it, pausing momentarily.
