johns 17th birthday was by far the worst thing he couldve expected. he asked his mum questions about his dad as he barely knew her but knew nothing about him. she tried to change the subject saying that she didnt know and that his aunt mimi loved him and she took him away from her.

"more then you?" he scoffs walking down the street.

she walks after him wrapping her arms around him. "i do love you believe me!"

"believe me i wish i could." he said trying to get her off him.

he gets home and sees a nice dinner and new guitar his aunt mimi had brought him and he thought his evening might get better only to find out his mum had cheated on his dad resulting in another sister called victoria and the day his dad had tried to fix things she had refused and his mum walked out on him so mimi "took" him.

"you fucking left down the street!" he says tears streaming as he walks towards the door unable to take it anymore.

"i love you john please i love you." his mum begs trying to pull him away from the door so he'll listen.

"no. i said no! cant you see what your doing to me? im going out my brain! and thats not fair! this is your fault and yours. im fucking done!" he sobs in tears as he slams the door hard before sprinting down the street to the nearest phone booth to call you. he knew youd been at the party he just hoped you were home by now to pick up.
